Lois is a Ghanaian-born, British-raised public health professional, public health podcast host and rare disease patient advocate, with a Masters in Public Health and consulting, teaching and speaking experience.

Profile
As a global health consultant, Lois maintains a deep passion for global health governance and security, the political determinants of health and universal health coverage, having previously conducted research disease control, sexual and reproductive health as well as private health sector engagement.
In 2023, Lois was diagnosed with neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) - a rare neurological autoimmune disease. She currently a freelance consulting role in rare disease patient advocacy as a UK Ambassador for The Sumaira Foundation.
She remains passionate about science communication and is now the producer and host of the NotiPHied podcast (PH for Public Health).
